Re: BennehBoy's Postbag

Blue Pill's arrived, R10 is incorrect value, but they seem to work fine. Was able to flash bootloader with STLINK and then upload blinky successfully. Need to create a BluePill version of my project now to take care of pin allocations. Will try debugging in vscode later. For some reason the attachm...

Re: Unnecessary stuff from library linked in

You may try to edit the platform.txt by adding the " -specs " compiler directives: compiler.c.elf.extra_flags="-L{build.variant.path}/ld" -specs=nosys.specs -specs=nano.specs I use it in my repo , it reduces considerably the code size with no side issues so far. At least the %f format of printf wil...

There is one more major USB device type that isn't yet supported: audio. Anybody want to write a USBAudio plugin?
Sorry for simple question but what can I do with the USB Audio - and what kind of specifications there are for USB audio interface ?

Re: USB HID / MIDI / Mass Storage as libraries

Great! I'd like to get mass storage (with SD) with serial working in my project so I'll be testing your code in the near future.

Re: USB HID / MIDI / Mass Storage as libraries

So it would be possible to get SD card mounted also by just implementing read and write functions ? Yes: should be very simple (you also need to read the capacity, of course). I wanted to try this this morning, but I couldn't get sdfat (either the official version or victor's version) to recognize ...

Re: USB HID / MIDI / Mass Storage as libraries

Very nice work.

So it would be possible to get SD card mounted also by just implementing read and write functions ? one could use also spiffs fs and utilize board's flash memory, although there's not much of space .

Re: CAN Bus Library for STM32F103

I did a stm32cube project with USB and CAN enabled for stm32f103c8 and it does not show any conflicts between USB and CAN. I guess I am missing something ?

Re: STM32GENERIC, my arduino implementation

Seems huaweiwx has taken this STM32GENERIC a bit further Did you have to do do the extra steps with installing the toolchain etc or did it compile for you straight of the bat? I have used some of his libs like RTClock 8-) Nope, I had to install the 'suggested' GNU compiler 5.4 2016q2 and modify pla...

Re: STM32GENERIC, my arduino implementation

Thanks Manny, your variant.c works for me with Blue F407VE Mini board. I forgot you need to change a setting in boards.txt otherwise UART gets garbled because of wrong clock setting.. the DHSE_VALUE originaly 8000000 has to be 25000000 , I also add the -O3 flag for more speed ;) BLACK_F407XX.menu.s...

Re: STM32GENERIC, my arduino implementation

Thanks Manny, your variant.c works for me with Blue F407VE Mini board. I can also confirm that SDIO works. I also tried huaweiwx's branch but strange enough SDIO did not work. Diffed the code and there are some small changes, which are unknown to me. Daniel, I can send pull request for changes neede...
