Re: Guide: "I'm new here - which board should I buy?"

Done some more debugging. Found an error in my assembly code. Wanted to try it out. Tried to erase the chip but stlink-utility couldn't connect to it , had to connect while reset button pressed down. Eh? Why not try with stlink as a uploader with arduino as well? Worked no error messages at all coul...

Re: Guide: "I'm new here - which board should I buy?"

It's set on COM1. I get this report from the ide: Resetting to bootloader via DTR pulse seems that's the one not working Ah I get some error reports from the ide as well after an upload: error resetting after download: usb_reset: could not reset device, win error: (can't find the file) Det går inte ...

The bootloader is active for about 5 seconds after reset then returns to running the uploaded sketch.
So I have to wait for the arduino ide to finish the compile before I press the reset button.

Re: Guide: "I'm new here - which board should I buy?"

It's a minor problem I just expected it to wait for the upload then exit when done. I'll recompile it with a longer waiting time if I'm gonna use it a lot arduinowise. Even with 11 usd for a kit it's a lot of cheap fun and no other hardware is needed. Similar boards can be found from 2.5 usd w.o. th...

Re: Guide: "I'm new here - which board should I buy?"

Hi I had some fun with this set: http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/Cortex-M3-STM32F103C8T6-STM32-Development-Board-w-SWD-Socket-ST-LINK-V2-Programmer-Emulator/1199788_32495902134.html I got 2 of these instead of the 2 kits I ordered. And have no use for them but I wanted to see if they were OK...
