We could write some code to turn a scientific notation numbers into a string before sending to serial.print

Re: Protecting Bootloader from being Corrupted

Rogerclark, Thanks for the explanation and I'll try to reset the board next time it happens. Just curious, why does the timing matter that I need to press reset "just before the IDE is about to upload"? As you have a sketch in flash (even though it crashes), the bootloader checks to see if there is...

Re: TEK 4010/4014 Vector Graphics terminal DEMO

That demo worked OK for me. I just put the library files into a folder inside the libraries folder I wonder if there should be a function to display the text. I know that Serial.print and serial.println work fine, but it seems strange to not need a TEK specific command to do this I may just add tek....

Re: Protecting Bootloader from being Corrupted

It's unlikely but not impossible you corrupted the bootloader. More likely your code just crashed the MCU so that the IDE could not tell the sketch to run the bootloader. In your case, if you have crashed the MCU e.g. Killed all the USB interrupts etc... just press the reset button just before the I...

Re: blue pill upload only after reset

You need to select the COM port in the IDE otherwise it wont reset

Also you need to select the correct board type in the IDE

Not perfect...

#defines should be properties

Please feel free to fix this and generally improve it

Re: very small STM32F405 board

I agree. Its designed to me a flight controller; and consequentially its less useful as a general purpose board

Re: Combined bootloader and sketch

I've not moved the merged bins to the original "binaries" folder and I've moved the binaries that are just the bootloader to a new folder called "bootloader_only_binaries"

Re: Radio library Bluepill

Have you confirmed that the stations you receive eg. at 100Mhz actually transmit at 100Mhz i.e Its possible that the frequency calculation you are using is incorrect and that when you try to receive on 103 you are telling it to receive on 108 or higher. Sounds more like your board just doesnt receiv...
