Ray you changed the picture ....

Yes, the first kid flying kite was simply too large. Plus, the current one is an "avenger" and reminds me of something .... but I'm old and feeble and can not remember :lol:

Re: sinusoidal oscillations - average period

As MarkB stated, it is better to work out the zero-crossing. A visual may help:

Re: Hello

<...> Well, for me the "holidays" (Christmas) are an excuse to try out some addressable pixel strands I bought earlier in the year ;-) About all I will be addressing is a few Christmas cards to folk that take offense to getting an eMail. But we have Thanksgiving next Thursday and I have a 3yr 8mo g...

Re: Hello

New to the STM32 but I have used various Arduinos/Arduino compatibles for a while now. Looking to get started with the STM32 boards. Saw the Arduino for STM32 a while ago but didn't get interested until I decided to try programming the NRF51822 via the Arduino IDE. Followed Rogers videos and blog p...

Re: MicroPython News

Isn't the generic 407 mini board (only costs ~10USD) a real alternative to micropyton pyboard 1.1? https://github.com/micropython/micropython/wiki/Board-VCC-GND-F407 IMHO, yes as long as you remember that s/h from AliExpress is going to bring the board to something over $14 U.S.D. Taobao price is $...

Re: MicroPython News

Mircro python is certainly getting interesting. However the boards in the micropython store are around 4 times more expensive than comparable generic boards Perhaps if @racemaniac's F405 BluePill board had micropython pre-installed it would be more economic to produce as people would pay $50 rather...

Ray

Are you sending LoRaWAN packets or raw ones.
<...>
Roger,

For the test yesterday, I was just sending raw packets with no real content. The send program is very similar to this example from sandeepmistry

snippet

Code: Select all

  LoRa.beginPacket();
  LoRa.endPacket();
