Re: Anyone tried to make a 3D Printer controller?

Its ATM pretty much on hold for me. Had a different project comming up for me which seemed much more do-able from a software perspective than this.
thanks @victor_pv i might look into it if i find some time in the summer break and then we will see how it goes from there on

Re: Anyone tried to make a 3D Printer controller?

hmmm....tales from the land of magic smoke:

check if the chip the chinese seller is actually the one you wanted.

because it seems like the 5V regulator wasnt really the one i ordered. :D
But luckily only that regulator blew and nothing else.

Re: Open Hardware STM32Duino

@elawahyu sadly, i wouldnt say that my 3dprinter/cnc controller is really ready for a bigger production :( . I could maybe try to revice the STaps , but i dont have that much time in the next few months, so i guess it would be better to take someone else's designs like the ones from @monsonite ~Straw

Re: Small side project: Teeny Board

@rreignier no, it isnt pin compatible with the teensy nor compatible with the 32f303. For the first part: its too hard to route the pins around that they would be pin compatible on such a small board. For the last part: it would be easily possible to change the board that it would fit a 32f303, but ...

Re: Anyone tried to make a 3D Printer controller?

PCBs arrived. Soldered the mcu in and testfitted the connectors

Main Front

Main Back

Others Front

Others Back

Some things that went wrong:

Pads for the fuses are too small.
wrong footprint for the transistors in the LCD adapter.

But now: gamescom :D
