STM32WB55CE supports USB DFU bootloader, review the relevant specs and docs
https://www.st.com/en/microcontrollers- ... b55ce.html
it doesn't need a separate bootloader.
Alternatively, get a st-link v2 and newer and program away

Re: Bug in SPI-library or in example sketch?
all the pins are normally GPIO, the alternate functions column are the alternate functions available at those particular pins, so for the gpio pin mux, you actually need to configure the pin mux so that it select the correct alternate function at the pin. If you do not know how to do that, this is d...

Re: Bug in SPI-library or in example sketch?
STM32ardui in Arduino, it defines a default SPI port. Hence, selection of SPI device is not defined in the API https://www.arduino.cc/reference/en/language/functions/communication/spi/ hence, to an extent this is 'beyond Arduino' to put things in perspective. you need to consider the hardware on st...

Re: STM32C011 (WeAct) - first steps
for this board, you are trying to 'fit an elephant in a small box'. If I have to mess with this board/chip, I'd resort to cmake https://github.com/stm32duino/CMake_workspace it may take leaving out lots of components to fit things in there, especially the *sram* usage. it takes *a lot more* th...

Re: Is 'STM32F103C8' 'digitalWrite' and 'digitalRead' possible in FAST mode?
google search for "stm32 bsrr" and learn how to use that
e.g.

and for *really fast*, stm32 spi can do like > 20 Mbps, not for novices

it depends on how much data you are trying to store I've used some of these: https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/winbond-electronics/W25Q64FVSSIG/2815931 https://www.winbond.com/hq/product/code-storage-flash-memory/serial-nor-flash/?__locale=en&partNo=W25Q64FV https://www.aliexpress.com/w...

Re: stm32 vs arduino
stm32 has a huge portfolio of soc for choice you'd only need to take a look at the boards that is 'supported' for stm core https://github.com/stm32duino/Arduino_Core_STM32 - performance tends to be faster due to - clock speeds even stm32f103 is running at 72 mhz - and it is advisable you start with ...

Re: Is the 'EEPROM' library of 'STM32F103CB' safe?
stm32f103cb has 128k flash, stm32f103c8 has 64k flash. EEProm library use that flash that is shared with program codes to store your data. check that storing data will not erase part of your program. note that normally, erasing a full block at the 'back' is 1/2 of the flash so for stm32f103cb it can...

Re: STM32F103CB ‘Sleepy mode’ and ‘Wake up’ function
that is designed for Arduino_Core_STM32 I've not used it prior, hence you would need to review the examples, codes yourself. beyond the library, review the reference manual for your soc https://www.st.com/resource/en/reference_manual/rm0008-stm32f101xx-stm32f102xx-stm32f103xx-stm32f105xx-and-stm32f1...

Re: STM32F103CB ‘Sleepy mode’ and ‘Wake up’ function
library is here https://github.com/stm32duino/STM32LowPower you need to use stm core for that low power is not for novices, to do low power, the simplest way is to consult the reference manual and figure out how to do that from there. in some low power modes, you need to trigger a reset after wake u...
