Hey guys. I'm having problems uploading to my board via stlink. (I'm new to the whole st-link thing...and the stm32 too for that matter)
I've got a generic "blue pill", the recommended display and a st-link v2.
I've previously uploaded the original sketch to the board with a TTL thingy (i've no idea what it's actually called, new to this, remember?)
But the problem was I couldn't give the oscilloscope comands through the Serial monitor in the Arduino IDE. That's why I got a ST-Link V2
Now however when I plug in the stlink and the board into it (I think I have the proper drivers since it does show up in Device manager on windows 7)
I can't seem to select a port
I've read that to upload via the ST-link I don't even need to select it, but...how can I give it commands if I can't open the Serial monitor because I can't select a port?
Please help, I'm lost here
