Read Parallel CMOS ADC using Nucleo-H743ZI2 dcmi

Post by Ahmed Eltayeb »

HI there
I am do a continues read an of ADC a parallel binary data https://datasheets.maximintegrated.com/ ... AX2771.pdf at the speed from 4-16MSPS with nucleo-H743ZI2. The binary data is sent through 2 ADCs where each has a specific channel I(I0,I1) and channel 2(Q0,Q1),and all are clocked with (CLK_out) , they have common ground (GND pin), my main goal is to read the data then save into a file.
I have been trying to make it work with the Arduino IDE on STM32 for the past few weeks , unfortunately the data I got was wrong due the slow speed of arduino-IDE. , therefore I started using HAL library on stm32CUBIDE. after a few amount of research I found that I can use the DCMI(digital camera interface) as an input to the ADC because it allow faster sampling speeds, starting by setting the DCMI in salve 8 bit embedded synchro mode which sets the dcmi pins 8 data bins(DCMI_D[0-7]), 1 clock pin (DCMI_PIXCLK) and ignores the [HSYNC&VSYNC] clocks. I wrote this code but its not working can you help me out with it plz

then I will transfer the data through uart to my pc, for faster transmission ill use usb verical port.
