CubeMX no longer uses AC6/sw4stm32 to open sources.

somehow something has changed, it first used to open with geany, then moaned about when opening the xml in firefox.
somewhat flummoxed :!:

any ideas :?:

uninstall sw4stm32, reinstall?

it WAS opening the project using geany, from the pop-up after code generation.
i removed geany and it then opened a xml file in firefox moaning about not having a style.

totally removed CubeMX and Ac6 open system workbench including any dot directories, downloaded all and re-installed and normal functionality resumed.
why does this sound a bit like a windows story, big red button and / or re-install :lol:

it was working on this system yesterday, ran synaptic for updates as usual.
tuesday i spent installing debian stretch 9.1 to the sdd drives on both laptops. both seem to be performing as if an i9 or i11 :o
