Re: Is there a way to use this bootloader out of the arduino IDE
this is for the stm32f103 based boards (e.g. the various 'pill' boards etc) technically stm32f103 (and most of other variants i'd guess. jumps to 0x8000000) start of flash memory and start running from there after a reset. so if you can find a means to place your sketch.bin at that location 0x800000...

Re: Dual cores
i've not explored the stm core in sufficient depth. but if i configure the dependencies in eclipse CDT, i've been able to get the official core to build with the sketch. the makefiles are 'auto' generated by eclipse CDT. i think the various eclipse based addons (e.g. sloeber , and system workbench i...

Re: stm32f103c6 / fake c8
it used to be just that naive line operators solders or place the leds in the wrong direction. that's 'forgiven'. but it'd seem some of these frauds are anything but naive

Re: stm32f103c6 / fake c8
there is this strange feeling that some of the bp/mm got their mcus from rejected batches, normally this doesn't happen as qc will be quite strict. i've 2 mm clones that run so hot i lift off finger touching it, ouch. i check the mcu temperature (using the on chip sensor) it is around 50 deg C the o...

Re: Dual cores
what i did is in eclipse (not arduino ide), i placed the codes of the core with the sketch that i use. and the reason is that what is the same is probably the 'high level' arduino api. any deeper down, official core is based on HAL and libmaple core is based on libmaple  i've not really explor...

automating arduino serial interaction with expect/tcl
this isn't necessarily limited to libmaple but that i've tested this in libmaple core hence posted here beside the well known languages c/c++/java/python etc there is an 'ancient' and little used language called expect and tcl this seemed to be for the unix/linux folks (should work on Rpi, Beaglebon...

Re: usb-uart example sketch and some thoughts about uart
thanks ray, in the case of my sketch, it is just a convenience feature i used while i'm testing out the features of esp8266 AT rom. my serial terminal is kind of 'handicapped' no macros etc, so i exploit the convenience of the sketch and did a 'command processor' ;) btw i still think the usb macroce...

Re: [Help] stm32f103 TFBGA bootloader flashing
check if you are accidentally installing something in ram? flash address normally is 0x8000000
