Arduino for STM32

What I used on some other (EFM32GG) MCUs lacking a pre-reset watchdog IRQ is to setup a software watchdog using a standard timer to trigger before the hardware watchdog, so you can find out where the code is spending time.

This USB composite library would be great to integrate with the driver-level libusb_stm32 library:

but i'd guess to save one all the trouble, is perhaps to avoid unscrupulous vendors, but it seemed that the problem now is at the manufacturing end so i'm unsure how much influence can we have, i.e. we'd still receive random defective or fake boards if after all the vendors order them from say a sa...

Don't even expect most of the STM32 board sellers you can find on Amazon, eBay or Aliexpress to be manufacturers. One exception here is Robotdyn, which is indeed an original board manufacturer.
