Decapping an LM324 (DIP Package)

So I order some LM324 on SMD package but the seller send the DIP version, I don't have an use for those so I saw this method and decided to use it on this IC:

The resistor it's an 0402, such waste of space and material for such tiny IC :shock:

I tried with other ICs but I was unable to recover the bare IC, even smaller than this and the method it's too destructive :D
