Throttle wireless sensor

Post by sigi »

Hi
I wonder if somebody knows which kind of sensor (brand, part #) premium game controllers like Virpil uses for the joysticks and throttle units...

well they are NOT wireless sensors, they are contactless sensors sorry for that.

Those might be magnetic encoders.

I think so, but I can not find a kit on any place with both parts...

maybe this units can make the magic with a small magnet on each side... if u are tired of joysticks with potentiometers like me this is the way to go I suppose ...

Here you go. Have fun with perfect absolute rotational encoders.

@sigi You are close, but there's chip ICs that output rotational position directly now.

thanks for the info! I see them some time ago but just dismiss them...
I already purchase some AH3503 but these AS5600 seems to be better and more easy to use and includes the magnet! ...

I also have the Frsky M9 High Sensitivity Hall Sensor Gimbal connected to a bluepill and of course they work a lot better than a normal joystick, but they do not use all the resolution range, that's where I suppose the AS5600 will be better. Who knows maybe they are good enough to read the position of my telescope. Thanks again!
