Hi stm32duino community,

after several month down, I'm pleased to announce that stm32duino.com forum is back and alive!

First, I want to thanks Roger Clark for all his wonderful work for the community since this site was created and also for his support and kindness.
The hosting is now managed by ST but the moderation will be done by the community.

The old forum contents can be found here:
https://web.archive.org/web/20190316170 ... duino.com/

due to GPRD it was not possible to restore it.

Enjoy!

Thanks Fedreric!
Glad to see the forum back online.

BTW I had a change to attend to an STM seminar in MEMS here is Austin recently, was great, love my little sensortile.

Nice thanks :D

While the server was down, I tried the STM32CubeIDE software, I would like to inform you that in this IDE, USB host support already allows the use of Pendrive, Sound Card, Mouse, Keyboard, DFU, MTP, MSC, HID etc. In addition to the other hardware, as timers, SPI, I2C, USB device etc. So besides the Arduino platform, it is also worth using this ST software. And some models have 2 built-in USB ports ;)

Congrats Frederic...

Honestly, I had big doubts that STM would ever re-boot STM32duino. Glad it happened.

Now, to move on.... move forward.

Ray

Good thing that the forum is back. Big Help and relief :)

Btw, I enjoy using ST mcu's with my projects. It started with the stm32F030c8t6(years ago) and I use MikroC for Arm then moved to F103C8(to ZE) with Arduino IDE then now in F4(as the requirement arises), its nice that there is an archive of the old forum I can manually search in F4. ;)

off topic, does this look like spam from a bot?
>deleted<

a captcha at registration may help, but i'm not sure if recaptcha from google has any associated costs
https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/v3.html

previously i think roger placed a question that one need to answer about arduino, e.g. what number is the led pin,
but new users unfamiliar with arduino may stumble over it
another way is to ask a random question which one needs to review the wiki to find an answer
https://github.com/stm32duino/wiki/wiki

i'm thinking that that wiki can go into wiki.stm32duino.com if it is convenient
i like the old wikis from wiki.stm32duino.com too which list various items related to the libmaple core and information about various boards in the wild

Thanks all.

mrburnette I understand your doubt anyway I managed to move the mammoth
ag123 right, I've deleted the user and will see how to avoid this.

About the wiki, I didn't have the archive :?

i think the community would have the informal 'archives' of them
i do have some of those pages and pdf, image files (e.g. schematics, board layouts) downloaded offline.
we can probably help to rebuilt if it helps
either way the wiki (e.g. wiki.stm32duino.com) isn't a priority, but a nice to have. it could for example be a new home for https://github.com/stm32duino/wiki/wiki. but still that wiki hosted on github is adequate as well
and having that wiki would sort of need a link say on front page or some prominent place (e.g. announcements) so that new users would be guided to or can find info from the wiki

Wow!

This is a beautiful Christmas gift... :D

Working in a big company I can imagine the difficulties to do that...

Thanks Fedreric!
