for some unknown reasons the manufacturer went with lpc for another board rather than offer an f4 board :lol:

it isn't necessarily a 'bad thing' as this time round we can literally buy a stm32f103 or stm32f407 3d printer board off the shelf, complete with vendor support and open sourced firmware :mrgreen:

it seemed the 'pill' boards (& maple mini's ) are 'growing up', more than likely the boards may no longer be just a dev board (it isn't all that difficult to run a washing machine with a stm32) :lol:
