good start for a IoT design

Post by jmcSciences »

Hello,
I plan to build an IoT end node to manage some beehives. I would like to know which lib / shield / module is the most mature to start with ?
I would be compliant with Lorawan 1.0.3 at least.
My first overview is :
- LMIC lib
- iM881A module
- RFM95W module
- STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN_V2.0.0
- https://www.iot-lab.org/blog/370/ minipill
- others ?

I found this small module :
https://www.amazon.fr/DollaTek-Developm ... merReviews
Any feedback is welcome !

There's a lot of things on the net, more or less old, more or less maintained or deprecated.

@fpstim , is it planned to wrap the STM32CubeExpansion_LRWAN lib to stm32duino ?

Thanks
jm

OK...

This is no way to start a dialog. You provide a bunch of hardware links and you provide absolutely no requirements. What about the bees do you need to monitor? How often. Uplink to an cloud server for reporting or are you going to report locally over radio?

I do not think you need a business-plan level portfolio, but how is anyone supposed to respond without knowing your needs? (and future wants.)
