Hi everyone,
I'm a young electronic engineer even though in my professional life I fiddle a bit with everything (from real time software to analogue electronics, jack of all trades, master of none). I'm also an electronic enthusiast and I like to spend my free time designing and building small systems like a custom throttle quadrant for WWII flightsim, or a "music box" for a friend of mine.
I participated twice in the robotic French cup, and during my last participation in 2016 a STM representative gave me a nucleo 64 (L053R8) that I've been neglecting since then.
Recently I've run out of Arduino (too much free time during the covid-19 outbreak) and decided to give the nucleo 64 its chance. So far it didn't go that well and that's why I'm here.
I thank you in advance for your welcome.

Welcome to the forum. The good news is that your board is fully supported see here.
Moving from 8-bit Arduino AVR into 32-bit ARM can be a little rough; for example int is no longer 16-bit but 32-bit. Little things like that is a P.I.T.A. Maybe try a few examples and expect some port issues with older libs.
