Hi Folks,
after countless projects with Arduino boards I need more capable controllers by means of processing power and IO. Thought it would be a good Idea to stay with the Arduino IDE but guess what, it doesn’t work out that easily. That’s why I’m here.

Welcome Phil.

Using Roger's core, the IDE feels just like UNO... just a few more choices in the board menu. If you jumped directly int the Official core, you may have a bit of learning, but that puts you onto a more complete/professional road using STM's boards.Thought it would be a good Idea to stay with the Arduino IDE but guess what, it doesn’t work out that easily.
FYI: A few users have reported fake microcontrollers on Chinese purchased boards, so do some investigations on your supplier before you buy.
