that soldering is 'quite ok' never mind all that blobs, mine is quite as bad 
oh and for maple mini (clones) my common hack is to buy those cheap 32768 crystals and just solder them at the rtc osc pins

but these days it seem most (stm32) boards come with the rtc crystal on board, these crystals tend to drift quite a bit i'd guess dependent on luck
