Arduino for STM32

So, I was happy this morning as my long awaited AliExpress order turned up...

Turned out, the seller sent 10x STM8S105 black boards, instead of 10x Blue Pills (STM32F103).

Super annoying, definitely my fault for ordering too cheap (I got excited as they were the oldish price of £1.80~ a board).

Anyyyy way, as I wait for my STM32F401 (I ordered from a place I've ordered from before and at just over £3ea with shipping and they were cheaper than any F103's I could find on AliExpress) does anybody want/know of anything to do with these? As far as I can tell, they're a large Nano with less memory.

With F401 you can do same (and more) as you want with F103.

Thanks Steve! I’ll have a play with them and post any stuff there.

As for the F401’s they’re probably more suited to my project to be honest! (Mainly the I2s). The pin out is a little different, but I haven’t made my boards yet, so it’ll be fine!

The stm8 are nice chip, so long as you don't do much math. I love them myself. Get a copy of iar and you are set.

Would resist running Arduino on them. Much easier to code to the data sheet.
