I am new to the SMT32 and on the learning curve!
What is the best way to test for fake/clone stm32
Has anyone used this method....https://github.com/keirf/Greaseweazle/wiki/STM32-Fakes
I have run it on the 2 STM32's I have and one pass and the other fails
any advice welcome, thanks.

Well, you can simply purchase a real Nucleo or Discovery board from STM.

If you buy from the gray market, you are assuming the risk. Some members report AliExpress has refunded moneys and other members have not gotten their money refunded.

STM32FEBKC6
that's one amazing chip, if you can get your hand on the datasheet.

I wonder if you can simply read the uniqueID of the chip and call it a day. presumably the fake ones wouldn't return a valid value.
